Toni Sperry has undergraduate education in International Business and Experimental Psychology from College of Charleston and the University of South Carolina, Upstate, with some graduate level statistics education from Clemson University. She studied international business with a focus in Asian studies at College of Charleston, and spent a semester in Shanghai, China studying economics and Mandarin Chinese. She transferred to USC to pursue experimental psychology, and focused her undergraduate research in survey data and some behavioral statistics.Her first job after graduating college was with an international start-up in Greenville, SC. Since then, she also worked for Clemson University’s business school where she developed an interest in supply chain, technology, and agriculture. This is where she realized some upcoming trends with health in the home. In early 2017, she approached a horticulturist with her ideas and received overwhelming support. This led the foundation of Pod Farms and the development of their first product.
